A. Before using portable pump, rig the pump on the deck and while pumping, lower the hose in the tank B. When the liquid cargo level goes down, lower the hose accordingly, keeping the rigged pump on the deck C. Make sure that the portable pump is completely submerged and lowered till the bottom of the tank and then start the pumping operation D.
